Sergio Bologna in English

As with all writings of the operaisti, translation and publication of Sergio Bologona’s key texts into English has been a fairly sporadic and dispersed affair. Although published in a variety of places, Libcom has luckily got the majority of texts hosted – but it’s often hard to trace the publication history of his work, so we’ve tried to gather his writing into a neater format.

Bologna’s writing in these pieces is stylistically very distinct from other well-known militants of the period, but is just as vital in the historical and theoretical articulation of the period and its many disputes. Hopefully one day the long-awaited Red Notes edition of his selected works will appear, but for now, this might be of use for those interested in studying his work.

No doubt we’ve missed a number of texts or got some details wrong, so we will keep editing and let us know and we’ll make any ammendments!
